Champion Tracker Maeve

We could not be more proud. This past weekend at Colby College in beautiful Maine Maeve became the 7th Champion Tracker Dalmatian. This is the highest level of tracking that the AKC offers and is harder than most can imagine. Maeve PASSED on her first attempt, what a huge accomplishment!

Arthur The Corgi

I've had some computer issues, so haven't been a very good Blogger. Here are some pictures of Carina with my mother's cat and also a picture of my sister's Cardigan Welsh Corgi - Arthur.

Why it is hard to go to work

The view from my front porch this morning. And why it is hard to go to work some mornings!

Agility Class

Well, finally went to an agility class last night. We have had a long, dry spell of finding the right instructor in the right place at the right time. My old agility partner Kim Tees is now teaching a great class in Portland - INSIDE! Corey and Spring were great. Corey would have so many more titles if he didn't have such a handicapped handler. Spring did very good considering what little exposure she has had. I see agility titles in her future!

And, the picture - the is Candy - CH Alfredrich Jackson Candygirl CD running a USDAA agility course before the days of AKC agility. Kim and I use to travel to the shows together. Where has the time gone?

Another Corey Son

New Champion

Congrats to Ann and Mac Smith on finishing their Corey/Holly son, Derry. He finished with a Specialty Supported entry, all points from the Bred-By Classes at just over a year old. Pictures to be p0sted soon. Brother Nemo was Reserve at the Specialty the day before. What a good weekend at the dog show!
