Good BAER News
The litter went to the Animal Referral Center in South Portland yesterday for their BAER hearing test. Good news - There were 8 bilateral hearig (all ears work) and one Unilateral hearing (only one ear worked). There were no deaf puppies i nthis litter and we couldn't be more pleased. Looks like we only have one puppy - a liver girl - with a blue eye. No patches. Good numbers all around!!

Puppy Feeding Time - Outside!
Puppies at 5 weeks
The latest litter news is the exciting puppies at Linda McSherry's - Patch Mountain Dalmatians. Violet was bred to CH Avalon's Taylormade by Paisley - Taylor. Our very good friend Ann Smith of Mapleaf Dalmatian is also a co-breeder of this litter. Having a Taylor son or daughter has long been a "dream" for Ann and Linda was excited to let Violet have this last litter.
This breeding used frozen semen from the 1990's. Timing for conception is critical with this type of breeding and we are extremely grateful to Slade Veterinary Hospital in Framingham Mass for making this happen. Their staff is wonderful to work with and knows what it takes to have such success.
We have 9 puppies. This is a very nice sized litter considering Violet is 7 and it was a frozen breeding. There are 5 boys, 1 liver and 4 blacks; 4 girls, 3 livers and 1 black. No patches.
Inquires for pet and show homes are welcome.
